TUNISIAN CROCHET (Ages 15 & Up) Basic knowledge of Tunisian crochet technique required. This class explores different possibilities using Tunisian crochet including Tunisian cables, Tunisian color work, and Tunisian crochet in the round. Various patterns for using these techniques will be provided.

Technical Theater Certification (Age 12 +) Are you interested in learning the “behind the scenes” aspects of what goes into running a theater production in the Pequot Lakes Theater? In this class you will learn the skills needed to operate the theater including rigging, lighting and sound systems. Class includes a tour of the space, as well as practical, hands-on work resulting in Technical Theater Certification to operate the equipment for High School and GLAPA productions.

Tubing Fun at Mount Ski Gull (Grades 4 - 8) Join us for this special winter adventure snow tubing at Mount Ski Gull. We’ll start this adventure at the high school with a snack in the commons area. Then we’ll load the bus and head to the hill. You'll have a blast with your friends as you race down five, 700-foot long tubing lanes. No equipment or experience is necessary. Tubers must be able to load and unload the lift by themselves. Parents will pick the students up at high school after the event. We are looking for parent volunteers to ride along. VIDEO GAME DESIGN: PLATFORMER (Grades 3 - 7) Live Online Develop engaging gameplay, experiment with different power-ups, enemies, and boss battles to make your game more exciting and fun! In this class students will learn to create their own platform game, using Construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Students must have a PC or Mac (chromebook, tablet, phones do not work).

WANT TO BE A BIRD DETECTIVE? Discover the joy of birdwatching in this beginner-friendly class! Learn how to identify common local birds by sight and sound. Participants will learn about appearance, location, behavior, and more to help you build confidence in recognizing species in your own backyard and beyond. Perfect for nature enthusiasts, families, or anyone curious about the feathered friends around them. By the end of the class we are hoping you’ll be able to identify that “mystery bird.”

WATER AEROBICS Make a splash while you get fit! This low-impact class takes place in the pool and combines cardio, strength, and flexibility exercises for a full-body workout. Perfect for all fitness levels, water aerobics provides resistance training while being gentle on your joints. Enjoy upbeat music, energizing moves, and a fun group environment that will leave you feeling refreshed and strong. Participants do not need to be able to swim; classes are held in less than 5' water. *Classes must be used within the session you registered for & do not carry over to future sessions.

WATER FITNESS Boost your health with this fast paced, low impact cardio class that uses the natural resistance of water to give your body a full workout! Water aerobics gently increases your heart rate and breathing while strengthening & toning muscles. It’s a great option for all fitness levels & ages. Classes are held in shallow water (less than 5’) and require no swimming ability. Participants must feel comfortable moving through the water, including floating on a noodle. The first date of each session is dedicated to learning the basics of water aerobics and the moves used with music. Please plan to attend the first date of each session. Participants are encouraged to bring their preferred resistance equipment: water bells, gloves, swim cuffs, and/or pool shoes. The instructor will have different options available to try before you buy if you are unsure of what you would like.
