Speech is a fun opportunity for students to develop communication skills, critical thinking and social emotional learning.

Participants will gain knowledge in:

• Communication principles
• Public speaking
• Group discussions
• Role-playing
• Interpersonal communication
• Non-verbal communication

All of these will play important roles in your life.

Season runs January 5 - March 13.

Practices will be at a minimum one day per week; the schedule will be based on student availability from 3:25 - 5:00 PM.

There will likely be 5 meets (including a home meet) that students will attend.  Meets typically start around 3:30/4 PM.  Transportation will be provided from PLHS to meet location and back.  (Meet schedule will be provided by the coach once everything is confirmed).

Early Bird Registration Fee:  $80 (if registered by December 29); Regular Registration Fee:  $100
