Preschool ScreeningThe early childhood years from birth to the start of kindergarten are an important time of rapid learning and growth. Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how children are doing. It identifies, at an early stage, possible learning or health concerns so that children can get needed help before starting school. Screening includes a developmental assessment, vision and hearing tests, height and weight measurements and an immunization and health history review. Early childhood screening is offered for FREE throughout the year to all children ages three to five year olds. The state of Minnesota recommends screening at age 3 and requires this for kindergarten entrance.Category -
