Cooking and baking skills are fun to share with everyone!  Learn a new technique, how to use a new kitchen gadget, or just play with some new recipes.  We offer both online and in-person cook-along classes.

Juice Making Class (Age 6 & Up)
Cooking & Baking

Do you have difficulty getting your kids to eat enough fruits and vegetables? Maybe you, yourself don’t get the daily recommendation. In this class you will be taught the health benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables by creating good tasting juices. You will learn what fruits and vegetables go well together and taste the best. Everyone will learn the process from selecting, prepping and making the juice. A great class for parents & kids to do together! Children under the age 15 must attend with an adult.

Jammin’ Fun!
Cooking & Baking

There is a lot involved in safely canning jellies and jams! Nancy will demonstrate water bath canning using Sure-Jell™ and fruit currently in season. Nancy will discuss jars and equipment and share some tricks to make things go smoothly. Everyone will take home one jar of jelly, one jar of jam and the confidence to do this at home!

Beginner Sushi

This is a great opportunity to learn all about Sushi! In this class students will learn the steps that are important in making a proper sushi roll. Students will make AND eat a variety of rolls: Sushi Rice, Nori, Inside Out Roll, Basic Roll & Spicy Crab along with some dipping sauces. Come for a night of great sushi, laughs and learn how to Rock that Roll! Bring a friend or make it a date night. Includes all supplies.

Advanced Sushi

In this class, students who have already attended Kara’s beginner class will learn more advanced dishes and techniques including an Inside-Out Dragon Roll topped with Tobiko (roe) and a Crunchy Salmon Roll (raw salmon), along with 2 different sauces. Come for a night of great sushi, laughs and learn how to Rock that Roll! Bring a friend or make it a date night. Includes all supplies. Prerequisite: Beginner Sushi

Sushi Bowls

Not interested in learning how to roll sushi, or can't stand the taste of Nori (seaweed)? This is the class for you. Kara will cover the steps in making the perfect sushi rice that will go into the bowl. There will be a variety of ingredients used, as well as learning how to make the perfect accompaniment sauce. There will be raw fish, cooked fish and tobiko caviar available. Includes all supplies.
