BEADED EARRINGS (Ages 15 & Up) Add a little sparkle to the holiday season by creating your own festive jewelry and ornaments! In this fun, hands-on class, you'll make three pairs of holiday-themed beaded earrings—a pine tree, a snowman, and a wrapped present. You'll also craft decorative beaded ornament hangers, perfect for adding a personalized touch to your holiday decorations or handmade gifts. All supplies are included, and no beading experience is necessary. You'll leave with beautiful handmade creations ready to wear, decorate, or give as thoughtful holiday gifts

BEGINNER KNITTING (Age 15 & Up) Learn the basics of knitting including, casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, garter and stockinette stitch, increasing, decreasing, binding off, reading a pattern. Choose your project-dishcloth, scarf, headband. List of materials will be provided once registered.

BEHIND THE WHEEL Get hands-on driving experience with a qualified instructor! Pequot Lakes Community Education is partnering with Pine River-Backus (PRB) Schools to offer behind the wheel training. Students will practice essential driving skills, learn safe driving techniques, and build confidence as they prepare for their driving exam. Students must complete the State Mandated 30 hour Driver's Ed Course and have a certificate of completion before they can register for Behind the Wheel, receive their Blue Card, and apply for a driving permit. Registration happens through Pequot Lakes Community Education, you will be required to upload your Certificate of Completion when registering. PRB schools will reach out to you to collect payment. Once registered and paid, driving appointments will be set up by the family through Mike Lupella, PRB Drivers Ed and Behind the Wheel Instructor. He can be reached at 218.656.0882. Six hours of Behind the Wheel training is required in order to receive the White Card needed to take the road exam for all students under the age of 18. In this creative class, you'll transform a bottle into either a cheerful Santa or an adorable snowman using a variety of decorative materials and embellishments. These charming creations make wonderful holiday décor for your home or thoughtful hostess gifts for holiday gatherings. No crafting experience is needed, and all supplies are included.

BOYS BASKETBALL SKILLS CAMP (Grades 1 - 8) Dribble, shoot, and score! This fun and active basketball camp is designed for boys who want to build their fundamental skills and grow their love for the game. Campers will work on basic skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork through engaging drills and mini games/scrimmages. Whether your child is new to basketball or looking to sharpen their skills and grow as a player, this camp offers a fun and energetic environment to learn and play! Step into our "Cytology Kitchen" for a hands-on exploration of the microscopic world. In this class, we trade microscopes for spatulas as we engineer delicious, three-dimensional models of the most important structures on Earth: THE CELL We'll dive deep into the differences between the creatures of the animal kingdom and the wonders of the plant world. By the end of the session, you won't just know what cells look like; you'll know exactly how it's built and what makes it "tick."
