Our fully online classroom curriculum was designed with the Minnesota student in mind and utilizes proven teaching methods that will keep the student engaged throughout the learning process. Entertaining “Live” classroom setting with Minnesota Licensed Instructors Minimal reading for students Free Study Guide to all students Closed Captioning options “Hands On” activities to reinforce information and get parents involved 24/7 Instructor Support Students have 6 months to complete the online classroom program Made specifically for MINNESOTA STUDENTS by Minnesota Driving Instructors! Our program is fully approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. This is a great option for busy teens who struggle with fitting in an in-person driver’s education class. Students can attend up to three hours per day and must complete the 30 hour course just like an in-person class. Student must have access to a computer and internet.

OPEN VOLLEYBALL (Ages 12 & Under with Adult; Ages 13 & Up) Join us for open volleyball designed for players of varying skill levels. Teams will be formed each night for game play. Both students and adults must register and pay by the session. There is not a drop in option. Students 12 & Under must have a paid adult attending with them.

Paint a Colorful Bobcat (Ages 10 & Up) Unleash your creativity as you paint a bold and vibrant bobcat! In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn how to bring the painting to life with bright colors, expressive brushstrokes, and eye-catching patterns. Paint a Colorful Fish (Ages 10 & Up) Make a splash with this vibrant painting class! In this class students will learn how to bring a lively fish to life using bold colors, expressive brushstrokes, and simple painting techniques. The instructor will guide you step-by-step through the process of layering colors to create shimmer and movement, and adding fun patterns or background elements that make your artwork pop. In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn simple painting techniques such as layering, blending, and adding expressive details The instructor will guide participants step-by-step through creating their own cheerful turtle design, with plenty of room for personalization—pick your turtle’s colors, patterns, and background to make it truly unique. Choose a morning or afternoon session, or join virtually - for flexible participation. Copies of the books are available to borrow and there’s no pressure to read ahead. GOOD INSIDE Discussion includes how to raise resilient, emotionally healthy kids and ways for parents to cope if feeling overwhelmed and stressed.

Pequot Lakes Community Education offers year-round tutoring for students who need homework help or support building their academic skills. Tutoring can help students build confidence, motivation, knowledge, achievement, and excellence. Our program strives to support students' understanding of core subject areas, as well as improve on study habits. This private tutoring will accommodate individual learning styles, create a supportive learning environment, and move at your child's pace. The one-on-one attention will keep your child excited about learning! Tutors use a variety of learning strategies that boost each child's potential to succeed. Each tutor has a passion for learning and a deep understanding of how to build trust in a one-on-one relationship. Tutoring is scheduled based on the needs of the child and the availability of the parent/child and tutor. All tutoring takes place within district buildings. Each tutoring session is 60 minutes in length. Tutoring can be purchased in a variety of sessions, ranging from 1 time to 4 times. There is no limit on how many times a student can register. Upon registration, your child will be paired with a tutor. The tutor will be given your information to set up the tutoring days and times. If a child needs to miss a scheduled session, the tutor must be notified in advance so the session can be rescheduled.

Pony Pals (Ages 5 & Up) Come and play with horses! This is a fun equine experience for an adult and child to enjoy together. Each pair will learn how to catch, halter, groom and saddle their horse. Then, the adult will lead the horse as we take a ride through the wildflower trail and over a few obstacles in the arena. We’ll be taking photos to send to each pair so you just enjoy the experience! This will take place rain or shine! Helmets are provided.

Rainbow Pendant Making Class (Grades 3 - 6) Brighten your day with a burst of color! In this fun, hands-on class, participants will design and create their own rainbow-themed pendant using wire, thread and other materials. You will be guided step-by-step through the entire design process so you will leave with a unique, wearable piece of art. All materials included.

SPANISH FOR TRAVELERS (Ages 17 & Up) Live Online Learn Spanish for travel from the comfort of home! This live, interactive course helps adults master essential phrases for greetings, dining, and directions. With Futura’s engaging approach, you’ll build confidence while having fun. Perfect for beginners and those with some experience. Zoom access and basic computer skills required.

STEM Exploding Paint Bomb Art (Grades K - 6) Get ready to mix science with splatter in this high-energy, hands-on course where creativity meets chemistry! In this fun & exciting class students explore the explosive reactions behind color and motion while designing vibrant works of art. Through safe, guided experiments, students will learn the basics of chemical reactions and pressure dynamics—all while launching paint bombs that create stunning abstract masterpieces. Perfect for curious minds who love to get messy and think outside the box, this course is a blast—literally!

STORYBOOK THEATRE’S THE LITTLE MERMAID Pearl has it all in the depths of the ocean. As one of the daughters of King Triton and Queen Scylla, she should be perfectly content….but, she dreams about the surface world. When she saves a young rock star from sleeping with the fish, she realizes that she will do whatever it takes to leave the underwater kingdom behind. No experience necessary. Perfect for beginners and experienced actors. Everyone who additions will get a part. Auditions will be from 3:30 - 5:30 on Monday (2/23) Rehearsal schedule will depend on the part received.
