Join fellow parents for a supportive 5-week book club exploring practical parenting ideas.  Choose a morning or afternoon session, or join virtually - for flexible participation. Copies of the books are available to borrow and there’s no pressure to read ahead.  Come connect, share and learn together on the journey of raising young children. 

HOW TO TALK SO KIDS WILL LISTEN

Discussion includes coping with children’s negative feelings, expressing strong feelings without being hurtful, setting firm limits, using alternatives to punishment that promote self-discipline, and understanding the difference between helpful and unhelpful praise.
