January Early Childhood Screening 2026 (Ages 3 - 5)Preschool ScreeningREQUIRED Early Childhood SCREENING Attention all 3 - 5 year olds! Early Childhood Screening is required by law for all children prior to the start of Kindergarten. Early Childhood Screening is offered free of charge. We strongly encourage parents to screen at age 3 (the ideal age for screening is 3 ½). Early Childhood screening is a free check-in of how your child is learning and growing. Screening includes developmental assessment, vision and hearing tests, height and weight measurements and an immunization and health history review. Screening helps identify children who may need additional time and experiences to be ready for school and connects families to Early Childhood programs and community resources. Kid KonnectionPequot Lakes Community Education's Childcare Program Kid Konnection offers before school, after school and some non-school full day care during the school year and summer care at Eagle View Elementary School Year Kid Konnection Child Care is offered to children entering grades K-5 each Fall. Summer Kid Konnection is for children entering Kindergarten through the summer following 5th grade. Children must be 5 years of age by May 1 and registered to attend Kindergarten (or Patriot Academy) in the fall in order to attend Summer Kid Konnection. Children age out in the fall of their 6th grade year (care ends the last day of Summer Kid Konnection). The Purpose of Kid Konnection is to provide each and every child with a safe and wholesome environment to play and interact. Participants will experience caring staff who offer meaningful student learning and recreational opportunities designed to enhance a child’s social, physical, cognitive and recreational skills. Kid Konnection summer and non-school day child care is available to all families, regardless of residence or school district. The Kid Konnection before and after school program is available for children who attend Pequot Lakes Public Schools. When you submit your registration, you will receive an email notifying you that your contract is waiting for staff approval. Your child is NOT registered for Kid Konnection until you receive a second email stating your contract has been accepted. At that time, your card will be charged the $35 registration fee. A $35 registration fee is charged per child per Kid Konnection Session (School Year / Summer). This fee secures your child's spot in Kid Konnection. Patriot TutoringEnrichmentPequot Lakes Community Education offers year-round tutoring for students who need homework help or support building their academic skills. Tutoring can help students build confidence, motivation, knowledge, achievement, and excellence. Our program strives to support students' understanding of core subject areas, as well as improve on study habits. This private tutoring will accommodate individual learning styles, create a supportive learning environment, and move at your child's pace. The one-on-one attention will keep your child excited about learning! Tutors use a variety of learning strategies that boost each child's potential to succeed. Each tutor has a passion for learning and a deep understanding of how to build trust in a one-on-one relationship. Tutoring is scheduled based on the needs of the child and the availability of the parent/child and tutor. All tutoring takes place within district buildings. Each tutoring session is 60 minutes in length. Tutoring can be purchased in a variety of sessions, ranging from 1 time to 4 times. There is no limit on how many times a student can register. Upon registration, your child will be paired with a tutor. The tutor will be given your information to set up the tutoring days and times. If a child needs to miss a scheduled session, the tutor must be notified in advance so the session can be rescheduled.Fall / Winter 2025 -

Rental times depend on court availability and what is happening in our buildings.
