ECFE in the Library (Ages 0 - 5) We are bringing our ECFE outreach program to the Pequot Lakes Community Library! This class aims to foster a love of reading and learning among young children while providing families with time to engage in activities together. All the elements of our onsite ECFE programs such as storytime, songs and rhymes, crafts and activities, and playtime are a part of this class. Caregivers will have the opportunity to connect and discuss parenting topics while children play in the cozy setting of the Pequot Lakes Community Library. $40 / family

Yes, you read that right! Your canvas is a real life horse! This is a fun activity to get creative on a large, living canvas. We’ll use non-toxic washable paints to create living works of art. The horses love the “grooming” (painting) while the humans create and experience the peace and enjoyment of spending time around these amazing animals. A fun activity for both kids and adults. Nature Camp (Ages 4 - 6) Join us for three days of learning all about nature! Each class will have a different theme (animals, insects & birds) and craft project. Students will be utilizing the outside grounds around the Crosslake Community Center to search for birds, bugs & animals. An amazing camp experience that you won’t want your child to miss! Children attend independently.

Patriot Football Camp (Grades K - 8) GRADES ARE BASED ON 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR A Pequot Lakes favorite, this fun camp is designed to teach youth players the fundamentals of football. Students will be led through basic techniques and fundamentals that are important to the game. Each day, participants will go through a stretching period, instruction time, skill related activities, and competitions. Participants should wear shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes (cleats are encouraged, not required). Participants guaranteed to receive a camp t-shirt if registered by midnight on July 26.

This one day "tune up" session is for JV/Varsity Patriot Tennis Players only (grades 9 - 12). Jack Bowe will be running this clinic along w/ some of his collegiate coaches and players. Attendance is not required to play fall tennis. Players must bring a water bottle and their racquet.

Pequot Lakes Community Education offers year-round tutoring for students who need homework help or support building their academic skills. Tutoring can help students build confidence, motivation, knowledge, achievement, and excellence. Our program strives to support students' understanding of core subject areas, as well as improve on study habits. This private tutoring will accommodate individual learning styles, create a supportive learning environment, and move at your child's pace. The one-on-one attention will keep your child excited about learning! Tutors use a variety of learning strategies that boost each child's potential to succeed. Each tutor has a passion for learning and a deep understanding of how to build trust in a one-on-one relationship. Tutoring is scheduled based on the needs of the child and the availability of the parent/child and tutor. All tutoring takes place within district buildings. Each tutoring session is 60 minutes in length. Tutoring can be purchased in a variety of sessions, ranging from 1 time to 4 times. There is no limit on how many times a student can register. Upon registration, your child will be paired with a tutor. The tutor will be given your information to set up the tutoring days and times. If a child needs to miss a scheduled session, the tutor must be notified in advance so the session can be rescheduled.

Looking for pickleball court time? Summer provides us daytime gym spaces that we would like to make available to you. Playing inside has its advantages. You don't need to worry about the weather or the temperature! For just $20.00, you can use a court and equipment for two hours. Call us at 218-568-9200 to check on availability. Typical rental times are M-Th from 9AM-4PM. However, Fridays and times outside of the 9-4 could be possible. Weekend rentals would be charged for a facility supervisor in addition to the court use. Advanced registration is preferred.

Pony Pals (Ages 5 & Up) Come and play with horses! This is a fun equine experience for an adult and child to enjoy together. Each pair will learn how to catch, halter, groom and saddle their horse. Then, the adult will lead the horse as we take a ride through the wildflower trail and over a few obstacles in the arena. We’ll be taking photos to send to each pair so you just enjoy the experience! This will take place rain or shine!

SkyLens Workshop (Grades 4 - 9) GRADES ARE BASED ON 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR In this exhilarating hands-on camp, participants will unleash their creativity, mastering the art of storytelling from above through exploration of aerial imaging using photography drones. Students will learn drone piloting, how to capture stunning videos and pictures from the skies, and delve into digital editing on computers. Join us for an unforgettable journey where the sky becomes the canvas, and every frame is a new perspective waiting to be captured and edited to perfection!
