Water Fitness
Water Fitness Join us for this low impact fitness class using the natural resistance of the water. Aquacise is a great cardiovascular workout, gently increasing your pulse & breathing rate. It strengthens and tones your muscles using the resistance of the water. It is a great workout for people of all fitness levels and ages. Class is held in shallow water (less than 5 ft) and requires no swimming. However, participants must be comfortable moving in the water, including floating with a noodle. Participants are encouraged to bring their choice of resistance equipment (water bells, water gloves, swim cuffs), or test out different equipment during our first class. Participants are also encouraged to bring a pool noodle. This class focuses on strength and cardio with some balance and flexibility and will require coordinated movements between upper and lower body. Choice of signing up for 4, 6 or 8 classes *Classes do not carry over to different sessions (must be used within the class session that you registered for).
