REQUIRED Early Childhood SCREENING Attention all 3 - 5 year olds! Early Childhood Screening is required by law for all children prior to the start of Kindergarten. Early Childhood Screening is offered free of charge. We strongly encourage parents to screen at age 3 (the ideal age for screening is 3 ½). Early Childhood screening is a free check-in of how your child is learning and growing. Screening includes developmental assessment, vision and hearing tests, height and weight measurements and an immunization and health history review. Screening helps identify children who may need additional time and experiences to be ready for school and connects families to Early Childhood programs and community resources. BEADED PLANT CREATIONS (Age 15 & Up) Create a beautiful plant that never needs watering! In this fun and creative class, participants will craft a decorative beaded plant using stiff thread and a lovely variety of glass beads. You’ll be guided step-by-step through shaping the stems and assembling your plant into a finished piece. All materials included.

BECOMING A DEATH DOULA Becoming a Death Doula is an introductory workshop designed for individuals who feel called to support others at the end of life. This educational session provides a foundational overview of the death doula role, training pathways, and the skills needed to offer compassionate, non-medical care to individuals and families during the dying process. Participants will explore: The history and philosophy of end-of-life doula work Scope of practice and ethical boundaries Emotional, spiritual, and practical support techniques Vigil planning and bedside presence Legacy projects and life review Communication with families and care teams Collaboration with hospice and community resources Self-care, boundaries, and burnout prevention Training and certification options Starting a doula practice or volunteer pathway This workshop is ideal for caregivers, healthcare workers, social workers, spiritual care providers, and community members who want to deepen their understanding of end-of-life care or explore becoming a death doula themselves. Attendees will leave with practical knowledge, resources for further training, and a clearer sense of how to begin this meaningful work. FREE: Pre-registration is required

CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES 2 - A SECOND HELPING (Ages 14 & Up; Under 14 with an adult) Enjoy a fun day out with a trip to Plymouth Playhouse to see the delightful sequel to the beloved Church Basement Ladies! This outing includes admission to the show, a pasta & salad buffet, and comfortable charter bus transportation. The sequel continues the story of the spirited Lutheran ladies, serving up more music, laughter, and heart from the church kitchen! No refunds will be given after July 24.

DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 55+ This driver discount program is taught by a MN Hwy Safety Center trained instructor. This class will explore changes in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and provide you with easy-to-use defensive driving tips. Pre-registration is required (no walk-ins accepted). Participation in this class may provide for insurance discounts.

EARLY EXPLORERS PRESCHOOL (36 months - 60 months) In this 4-week drop off program for preschoolers explore activities each week around the central theme for that session. Preschoolers will have free time to play and explore what interests them, join a circle time with songs and stories, have a snack and play with their friends. Please note there is no sibling care available for this class. Sibling care is not available during these classes.
