BMX Pedal Bike Action (Ages 2 & Up)RecreationBMX Experience! (Ages 2 & Up) Join other youth riders and dive into the exciting world of BMX bike racing! In this action-packed class, participants will learn the fundamentals of BMX racing, including bike types, BMX terminology, race course setup, and safety practices. Riders will get hands-on experience with instruction tailored to all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your riding skills. Riders will be split by age group: 2 - 5 & 5 +. By the end of the class, riders will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to race! Bring your own bike & helmet if you have them, the facility does have bikes (both BMX & Strider style) along with helmets available for use.Winter/Spring 2026 -
Cross Country Skiing (Grades 2- 6)RecreationCross Country Skiing (Grades 2 - 6) Beginners: Ski lessons for beginner cross country skiers, sponsored in part by the Brainerd Nordic Ski Club. Equipment provided or bring your own. This class will focus on skills and fundamentals of skiing on the trails around Eagle View Elementary Nature Center. Experienced: Prerequisite: Beginner lessons or approval from instructor This class will build on skills learned in the beginner class. We will ski on the trails around Eagle View Elementary Nature Center and other area ski trails (parent transportation to area trails is required) Dress in layered winter clothing with long, warm socks. Students must wear a hat and gloves or mittens. Sibling Discount available *Can be used for same class or combo of both classes (children must be from the same household): 1st Child: $60 | 2nd Child: $40 | 3rd Child: $25 Classes canceled due to extreme cold or poor snow conditions will be made up if possible.Winter/Spring 2026 -

Additionally, martial arts is a sport that develops the mind, body, and spirit. In this class, you will be introduced to a basic level of understanding of footwork, offense, defense, and more. Skijoring Experience (Ages 6 & Up)RecreationStrap on your skis and join in the fun as we tack up the horses, and experience skijoring! You’ll experience being pulled by the horses on over 1/4 mile of groomed track. Participants will take turns throughout the session. This is a very safe activity, as the horses are controlled by their handlers and you are never attached to the horses by any equipment. A unique experience for both beginning and expert skiers. Skis provided! Please dress for the weather. Make it a family fun day!Winter/Spring 2026 -
Tubing Fun at Mount Ski Gull (Grades 4 - 8)RecreationTubing Fun at Mount Ski Gull (Grades 4 - 8) Join us for this special winter adventure snow tubing at Mount Ski Gull. We’ll start this adventure at the high school with a snack in the commons area. Then we’ll load the bus and head to the hill. You'll have a blast with your friends as you race down five, 700-foot long tubing lanes. No equipment or experience is necessary. Tubers must be able to load and unload the lift by themselves.
