In this engaging class, children will explore imaginative play through storytelling, music, games & hands-on activities. Children will help create their own costumes and props. This class invites preschoolers to dance using scarves, ribbons and other props. This class will help children explore music while developing coordination, balance, and body awareness. They will create their own “maracas” and practice using it to music. This class builds confidence and a love of music while letting young learners burn energy in a fun & supportive environment. Lil’ Clarinets Group Lessons (Age 9 - 12) Introduce your child to the joy of music through this fun and supportive beginner clarinet class! Students will learn the history of the clarinet, how to care for the instrument and begin playing simple songs! Students must provide their own clarinet. Lessons are taught by Barbara Haney, award winning clarinet player from Austin, TX. Max 2 per group. Each session includes FIVE 1/2 hour lessons

STORYBOOK THEATRE’S THE LITTLE MERMAID Pearl has it all in the depths of the ocean. As one of the daughters of King Triton and Queen Scylla, she should be perfectly content….but, she dreams about the surface world. When she saves a young rock star from sleeping with the fish, she realizes that she will do whatever it takes to leave the underwater kingdom behind. No experience necessary. Perfect for beginners and experienced actors. Everyone who additions will get a part. Auditions will be from 3:30 - 5:30 on Monday (2/23) Rehearsal schedule will depend on the part received. TISSUE BOX THEATER (Ages 5 - 8) Lights, curtain, action! Young children will transform ordinary tissue boxes into imaginative mini stages, creating simple puppets, characters and scenery. Then they will bring their stories to life through playful performances. This creative class encourages storytelling, fine motor skills, self-expression, and confidence while introducing basic drama concepts in a fun, age-appropriate way.
