MARTIAL ARTS - LITTLE DRAGONS Ages 4 - 6RecreationMARTIAL ARTS: LITTLE DRAGONS (Ages 4 - 6) Little Dragons play a lot of games in martial arts classes so they can build gross and fine motor skills as they learn how to confidently navigate their world with great manners and respectfulness. Productive communication and emotional regulation are at the center of each game. Our martial arts system helps little ones build self-esteem through active ninja-skills training with age-appropriate bags and equipment. This is a great age to introduce martial arts as a sport that develops the mind, body, and spirit. In this class, you will be introduced to a basic level of understanding of footwork, offense, defense, and more. A manual will be provided for this class, outlining what the individual will learn. Students progress through different basics at their pace working in small groups to maximize practice time on each station. Gymnastics is the study of acrobatics. Acrobatics that improves fitness, mental health, team building, and more. Essentially, gymnastics is learning movements that focus on building stronger minds and bodies. In these classes, students will learn the base level of gymnastics appropriate for your present skill level via tumbling, beam, and a routine paired with music. Students will move on to more advanced skills as they progress. A manual will be provided for this class outlining the core curriculum from the USA GYMNASTICS program, acting as a road map for what the individual will learn.Fall / Winter 2026 -
