YS PreK T-Ball Skills Girls & Boys Entering Kindergarten in the FallBaseball & SoftballPlayer MUST BE 5 years of age by June 1, 2026 and ENTERING KINDERGARTEN in the Fall of 2026 *verification may be required Program will focus on skills and fundamentals using age appropriate equipment. Scrimmages will be held against other PL teams. Season will tentatively start the week of May 18 with photos, practices will tentatively start the week of May 26 (depending on the number of teams & field availability), and end the week of June 22. There will typically be 1 practice per week, starting no earlier than 5:30 p.m. lasting 1 hour (Monday - Thursday). Day of the week will be based on field availability & coach availability. May: There will typically be either 1-2 practices per week. Schedule will be determined by the # of teams and field availability. June: Games will typically start the first week of June and be in the evening on Mondays and/or Wednesdays, starting no earlier than 5:30 p.m. There will likely either be practice or a game every Monday/Wednesday in June. Practices will be at the HS fields, elementary school fields or in Breezy Point, there will be some traveling required for games. All transportation will be the responsibility of the parents/guardians. Players must have their own glove. Tennis shoes or cleats should be worn (no metal cleats).
