SOURDOUGH BREAD MAKING WORKSHOP Learn the basics of sourdough bread making. We will walk you through all the steps, from making an active sourdough starter, mixing the dough, completing the stretch and folds to baking our sourdough. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the sourdough process. Most ingredients are supplied, participants will be given a list of supplies they will need to bring once they are registered.

STAGE MANAGER 101 Interested in theater but prefer working behind the scenes? Learn how to be a stage manager, one of the most important roles to any production! You’ll discover the role a stage manager plays in bringing a production to life and explore key skills such as leadership, organization, problem solving and effective communication. Topics covered include the responsibilities before, during, and after a performance; organizing rehearsals; communicating with directors and actors; managing scripts; tracking cues; and keeping productions running smoothly. Please note, there are opportunities to earn some extra money working with GLAPA and other local theaters once you have this knowledge.

STITCHED FLOWERS (Ages 8 - 14) In this fun beginner hand sewing class, participants will learn how to create sturdy flowers with bright fabrics and button centers. Projects can be stitched to a stem or a hair tie. All materials included.

STORYBOOK THEATRE’S A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Ages 7 - 18) Imaginations will take flight in this hilarious journey through an enchanted forest that includes mistaken identity, mischievous groundlings, misplaced love and more! THE GREAT MINI GOLF ADVENTURE (Grades 4 - 8) Get ready for a day of fresh air, fun, and friendly competition! Participants will visit three different mini golf courses, each offering its own unique challenges and creative layouts. Campers will practice their putting skills on the courses, enjoy time with friends playing other outdoor games, and have a picnic lunch together each day. Perfect for those who love being active and spending time with friends! Register for one session or all of them. Bus transportation and mini golfing fee included. Please bring your own lunch. TRACK & FIELD FUN (Ages 4 - 6) This fun and energetic class for children of all abilities is a great way to get your child moving! Girls and boys will participate in mini track & field events with a variety of activities that teach teamwork and focus on motor skills development. Day one will emphasize proper running technique, stretching and running events. Day two will be all about field events, throwing & jumping. This is a drop off class, but parents are invited to stay and watch.
