Clay Target League 6th Grade Girls & Boys
The goal of Youth Clay Target League for 6th Grade Students is to give participants a foundation of shooting clay targets (marksmanship) and gun safety in a fun and safe environment. 6th Grade will not participate in any meets. Practices will be on Saturday mornings, coaches will set up times with the participants (time slots each week), they are not expected to be at practice the entire time - only during their time slot. There is an additional fee of $75 payable to the Patriot Sharpshooters (501C3) @ the informational meeting or 1st practice; this covers expenses such as ammunition, course fees. All participants must have their own firearm (20 or 12 gauge only); protective equipment: eye protection (sunglasses do not count) and hearing protection. It is important to register by March 13; there will be an informational meeting on March 15; coaches will meet all the participants, go over rules, make sure the firearms are fit properly and check protective equipment. Registrations after March 15 will be provided information.
