Create Your Own Rag Quilt (Ages 12 & Up)

Learn the cozy art of rag quilting in this beginner-friendly sewing class! Rag quilts are known for their soft, fringed seams and charming patchwork look—perfect for gifting or keeping warm at home. Participants will learn how to select fabrics, cut squares, assemble quilt “sandwiches,” sew with exposed seams, and achieve the signature ragged edge finish. Guided step-by-step by the instructor, you’ll create a small lap quilt or baby-size quilt while building confidence with your sewing machine. All materials are provided (if you have a portable sewing machine, feel free to bring it, there will be machines available to use).. Everyone will go home with a 60” x 90” quilt.
