My name is Amanda Sifferath. I graduated from Pequot and moved back to the area with my husband Jason in 2019.  We have 3 boys in elem/middle school and 2 dogs. I have my AAS in Early Childhood Development and my BS in Psychology. My work experience with children goes back to when I first started babysitting all throughout high school. Other experiences include daycare center teacher, home daycare provider, special ed paraprofessional, Head Start teacher and substituting for the parent educator at Eagle View. I have been co-teaching the babysitter class with my mom, Terri Spielman, since 2013. 

Terri graduated from PLHS, she lives in Breezy Point and has 3 daughters/son-in-laws and 7 grandchildren.  She and her husband own Ricka Manufacturing.  She has taught First Aid / CPR class in the community for many years. She enjoys teaching the babysitter training classes with her daughter Amanda.  She is a volunteer first responder/EMT.
