Contact Football 5th/6th-grade boys  

• The focus will be on learning the skills and fundamentals of football in a fun & encouraging environment.  Parent coaches are needed, please consider volunteering.
• Players must supply their own football pants & shoes (cleats are recommended [no metal cleats]).
• Players will be provided with a jersey (reversible), shoulder pads & helmet to use for the season (equipment deposit is required).  
• Players will be provided with ONE mouth-guard; mouth-guard must be worn at all practices/scrimmages (no mouth-guard = no participation)
• Practices: The goal is to have 1 - 2 practices per week.  Varsity football coaches and players will be assisting with some practices.  Approx. time frame:  5:45 - 7:00 p.m.
• Scrimmages: 5th/6th Grade Contact Football scrimmages with area communities may take place on an evening (in place of practice) or Saturday mornings.  Transportation to scrimmage locations is the responsibility of parents/guardians.
• Players will be showcasing their skills at 1/2 of the varsity game on October 10.
• End of Season "Under the Lights" will be on Saturday, October 11; 6 - 9 PM.
