Curious about Mahjong but not sure where to start? This Bootcamp is perfect for beginners! Lesson 1 will cover the basics of the game, including tiles, how to read a Mahjong card, rules of play, game setup and game play to Mahjong! 

Lesson 2 will provide a refresher of the previous week’s lesson and will also include guided play. Guided play is all about practice, confidence, and connection. You’ll play full games with gentle coaching, reminders, and real-time tips along the way. Questions are encouraged as we reinforce rules, strategy, and Mahjong card reading in a relaxed, social setting. 

The Beginner Bootcamp lessons offer all the basics needed and supported play without pressure. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere focused on fun, connection, and building confidence so you can leave ready to play with friends, with a NMJL card in hand! No prior experience needed—just bring your curiosity!
